With the imposing presence of the surrounding buildings, regarding the material used on the facades, the expression of their function, and the presence of three old building expressing the passage of time, everything felt imposing, with the sea and the garden as my only escape. The clash between the old and the new felt overwhelming, like it was all closing in, creating a magnetic field, all concentrated in one spot, which was me, standing at the center of it all. The model recreates this feeling of implosion, the central focus that everything revolves around. The void, an atrium where everything happens, is a space lit naturally, rich in many subspaces where different niches (exhibition spaces) interact and overlook each other. This void is seen from every corner in the interior but is also connected visually to the sea and the garden outside.
